The advantage to having a bench jeweler with 20 years of experience, who is also the designer, is that we know that our Custom jewelry will last, and be comfortable. Many “jewelry designers” have not spent substantial time physically working with jewelry. What looks good on paper does not necessarily translate into a functional piece. The ring below represents a new design we have been working on for quite some time. We refer to it as a SlimFit™ shank. The band gets very thin between the fingers, while at the same time getting wider. The result has all the structural integrity of a traditional ring shank. For the wearer, however, the band all but disappears between the fingers, without affecting the look as seen from the top.
